Monday, Fourth Week of Easter

St. John 10.1-10: "Very truly, I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and bandits; but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the gate. whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly".

About Me

Fr. Seamus Hogan...
was born in downtown Toronto in 1973. The youngest of seven children, his Irish parents always kept him closely involved in the Church. After finishing high school he went on to York University in Toronto. It was only while studying at university that Fr. Seamus discerned a call to the priesthood. In 1997 he entered St. Augustine's Seminary in Toronto. In May 2002, after five years of prayer and study, he was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Toronto. After his ordination he served at Blessed Trinity parish in Toronto for three years, after which time he served at Merciful Redeemer parish in Mississauga. Since 2007 he has lived in Rome, where he is presently working on a doctorate in Church History at the Pontifical Gregorian University. Fr. Seamus is very happy to be a priest and is thankful that Christ has called him to follow him in the priesthood.
